Move remote control from one car to another? (Central locking) 156

Hello, a quick question, I've been trying to search for an answer but haven't been able to search my way to it.

I'm in the process of moving my engine from my old 156, to a new 156, both pre-facelift exterior and interior.

Unfortunately the new car lacks remote control on its central locking system, so I was wondering if and how I can salvage the components from my old car and add to my new. Is it possible to do so without messing with other systems? Where is the receiver, antenna, encoder (or whatever) in the car? As far as a I know, this is a separate system from the immobilizer.

The new car also only has one key, so my hopes was to keep this key, and the old as a spare. And have a key.. person ( ? ) Create a bit of a frankestein key from the two. Immobilizer and key from the new, with the remote control from the old.
