156 Trim question

I have a 2002 156 jtd lusso. and was wondering If I am missing some trim.
Underneath the glove compartment in the passenger footwell, I have some sound prooing type matrerial held on by two 10mm flanged nuts at the rear (closest to the passenger), the forward end can hang down and rattle as it is unsupported.
looking at it the whole area looks a bit untidy, And I was wondering if there was something missing like some plastic facia/ covering that holds the whole lot in?
If anyone has any knowledge of this could you please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Re: 156 Trim question

no, that is normal. the front edge (farthest from the passenger) should be supported by a narrow 'slot'.
