.... and if so, what do you think of it?

But I think you have to oil it so I'm going to stay well clear.

Re: I was going to ask if anyone is using a Green Air Filter ....

A mate has one in his 155 V6. It`s fine - no probs at all.

All of these non-paper filters have some oil on them but it isn`t a problem. It`s only when they are re-oiled by cack-handed people that put way to much on them that there is a problem (that's me by the way).

When I first put my K&N on it was fine for 50K miles, no problems at all. I only killed my MAF when I put a bucket of oil on it when cleaning it

This time I re-oiled it I removed the MAF for 500 miles to suck out any excess.

Green filters need re-oiling from time to time but if you are worried then just buy a new one instead. Don`t worry about the level of oil on a new one out of the box as it won`t hurt the car.

BTW, the K&N has a longer re-oiling period so if the price is about the same and you intend to replace rather than re-oil you are better with the K&N which is good for 50K
