Re: I dont beleive my lowering springs are any lower!
So yesterday I measured the distance between the middle (highest point) of the wheel arches and the floor, and I'd be grateful if maybe someone could do the same on a non-lowered 147 and see if mine is in fact any different to standard?
Fronts 26.5" Rear 27"
I lowered 35mm with HR springs. When I was doing this I measured the distance from the ground to the wheel arch through wheel center (the same method as you). I have 215/45/17".
The original height was 685mm front and 695 mm rear. After HR springs installation it was 653 and 661 mm. This means 32 and 34 mm lowering. I think after the springs bedded in the car sunk another 2-4mm but I canít prove this. My tyres are worn now so the car is few mm lower because the tyre thread is gone.
Thatís why you canít compare your car with others, in spite of the same wheel/tyre size. The tyre thread wear makes a difference.
