A156 2.0JTS "Check Engine" when tank is full !
Hi and Merry Xmas to all.
I have been having for the last year or so, the "engine check" indication on and off randomly (at least as I thought until about a bit more than a month ago), without affecting the performance of the car (a 2004 156 2.0 JTS with manual gearbox).
It is now about a month that I noticed that the "check engine" sign is not coming up randomly. The indication comes always up a few kilometers after I fill the fuel tank, and it remains up every time I start the car, until the fuel in the tank is more or less at around half. And it remains OFF every time I start the car even if the fuel level is so low that the "limited range" appears on the cars display... As soon as I go to the petrol station and I fill up, the "check engine" appears again and it keeps coming up every time the car is started until the level is down again...
Did anybody in the forum had same problem before ? Any suggestions ?
