been a regular lurker and 146 owner for a while now, made an impusle buy
got it for £2550, please tell me i did ok! , going to pick it up on sat , i
think it's stunning!
and a couple of questions..
i've got a personal plate on my 146 which is now for sale, when i was bought
the plate i got it put it on the car the same day (via the dvla offices),
but now i've got another car i want to take the plate off the 146 and onto
the 156, what happens about a plate for teh 146, i assume it gets allocated
a new one, is that something that takes a while to do? , anyone know!?
also what would be a rough price to advertise my 146, its..
1997 146 1.6ts , met blue
full alfa specialst service history, cambelt change at 57kish, new sparks
16" alfa wheels (little tatty)
bodywork is in very good condition
it's been very reliable, has had new clutch, new front wishbones
red key and 1 remote key
need to offset the cost of the 156!
one other thing that someones pointed out to me on an alfa group is that the cambelt on my new alfa is due for changing now :-( my bad i guess no researching it better, but on his auction listing it says it doesn't need to be done until 130k miles, i'm sure he just didn't know about the interval change. i'm paying and picking up the car next week, i guess it will cost around £300 to get the cambelt done, do you think i should mention this and ask if he can take say £100 off the price because of this. technically his auction is misleading, but i dont really want to make a big issue over it and i wont pull out of the sale, i bid for it and i stand by that
what would you guys do!?
