So, I know its been discussed before... but I need a new set of boots and was looking for the Michelin PS2's, but they are very expensive it seems. I can buy a set of Eagle's for £107 cheaper than the Pilot's - is it worth that much extra?
Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 225/40 R18 (92Y) - £464
Pirelli Pzero Rosso 225/40 R18 (92Y) - £495
Pirelli Pzero Nero 225/40 R18 (92Y) - £540
Bridgestone Potenza RE50 225/40 R18 (92Y) - £544
(note, not RE50A, these seemed to be 88Y rated? Also not pole position version)
Michelin Pilot Sport 2 225/40 R18 (92Y) - £571
Is the Michelin really worth the extra, can anyone tell me:
- What life they got from their Eagles?
- Are they noisy?
- To they tramline/torque steer?
I am currently running PS2's... so I have no point of comparison, but seems like a lot of £££ extra?!
