front wheel bearing

Does any one know how to remove the hub to replace the bearing on an alfa 156, 1999 april.
After trying pullers we took the drive shaft out but see no other way.

Re: front wheel bearing

Have you got a copy of eLearn or DTE?

I'm sure there are some threads on here on the subject. (Says he running quick search for "front wheel bearings" ...)

Here's a pretty good thread:

You need a 36mm thin walled socket though, not a 32mm one. I got one from JustOffBase made by Sealey : Part No SX006: Impact Socket 36mm Bi-Hex Deep 1/2Sq Drive. Haven't tried it on the hubnut yet, but it fits the new nut I bought. It's whether it fits into the hub carrier .....

cheers, Gary
