Mango's don't have much space on their site for storing huge numbers of used cars so they have a compound down the road where they keep some vehicles (anyone who knows what I'm talking about will be having a bit of a giggle right now
) hence they sometimes have to bring a car up to the dealership for a look.
I firmly believe they're an honest outfit though, they have a good reputation to protect and it shows. I've had dealings on the sales side with Lythgoe (cr@p), Caledonia (worse), Reg Vardy (good, but Dax has left) and Mango's (excellent). On the service/maintenance side I've dealt with Caledonia (appalling) and Mango's (again excellent).
Mine was in for a major service last week and I asked them to investigate a) horrible rattle from the roof lining and b) squeak from the n/s suspension. Bearing in mind my car is now in year 3 of its warranty (which is a dealer warranty and presumably paid for by the dealer, not ARUK) they replaced the rear courtesy light to eliminate the rattle and also the anti-roll bar and front lower suspension arm to eliminate the squeak, and all without any quibbles whatsoever
Ros I wouldn't worry about the "3 owners" business as long as you can find out who they were and piece together why they sold it. I was the 3rd owner of my car when I bought it at 8 months old and she's been a belter.
Have a good look on Monday and, as Simes says, put your hands on your head...... err, no - erm, there's lots of very good roads round there to give it a good workout
PS. ask for Craig when you're there - top bloke
