Suspension - what happens if I leave it?

The suspension on my 147 is squeaky. Not unusual apparently.
I have brought it back to the dealer 3 times, and they are not really able to find the problem. So far they have replaced the anti roll bar and wishbone, but it has made no difference.
So what happens if I just leave it, and learn to live with the squeak? It only happens when going over speed bumps and stuff like that.
Garage seem to think it's ok, but am not too sure.
I've already spent close to 1000 (680GBP) on it with no noticeable difference, so really don't want to fork out much more.
Any thoughts?

Both wishbones or a wishbone? If one, then it's probably the one they didn't change. Squeaks are usually the upper wishbones or lower arms and the bushes have dried out. Sometimes you can get something like WD40 in and it goes away for a while, but always comes back. Often the squeak will go when the weather is wet ... [ notice no sarcastic remarks about Ireland being green for a reason ... ]

It would drive me nuts, so I'd have to find it.

It was the left wishbone. That's the only side the squeak is coming from.
I haven't noticed the weather having any effect on it - coldness, rain, the squeak is always the same
Yes, I did notice that spraying WD40 made it less squeaky, albeit very temporarily.

Re: Suspension - what happens if I leave it?

Rather than using WD40 I'd try spraying Waxoyl on/into the bushes..its one of the things they recommend in the waxoyl literature so it shoudln't do any harm, and it might well provide a longer lasting solution than WD 40 which will dry off very quickly and lose its effect.

Just checked..they use waxoyl on the Audi TT which suffers squeaky suspension too. Waxoyl is..wax suspended in White spirit, which soon evaporates.

I've used the stuff for the last 30 years

Just make sure you do not get it anywhere near the brakes.
