Sun visor replacement - any ideas?

Hi there,

My passenger side sun visor recently broke in that when the passenger pulled it down you heard a 'tear', so I am assuming the spring has gone. Now it just stays down and will not go back to the upright position.

I have ordered a new sun visor, however, I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on how to go about carrying out the replacement?

My initial approach was going to be, carefully wedge plastic cover off with scewdriver and hopefully from there it should be self explanatory.

I look forward to hearing peoples comments.

Many Thanks,

Yeah, pop the cover off and its secured by two Phillips screws....or at least it is on 156 and 147 - can't see GT being different.
