Change in temp causing water leak ???

Strange one this one....

I have headlamp washers on my facelift 147, but they leak (common problem I believe), both washer jets on the front have been replaced under warranty, but the leak remains. This is the strange bit...

... the leak seems to be linked to outside temperature. The car can be parked all day, then just start leaking, then stop later in the day as the temperature drops. If the temperature is cool for a few days, no leaks....

Could it be that the temperature change is causing water pressure changes and therefore stop / starting the leaks ? Anyone else had / seen this ?
