Well, we got it
Very pleased - just a couple of small things to iron out
The Stainless sill plates didn't come in time so you can see the wear on the sills where the rubbers on the bottom of the doors meet the sills
From searching this forum & looking at other GT's it appears to be standard
Should cover up nicely though for £110
There's also a small ding where the rear panel by the light meets the boot. Will see my fav. dent guy on Wednesday.
The GT logo on the ashtray is a bit faded too
The new tyres on the front are ace (rim protectors built in, unlike the rear tyres). I was cheeky asking for these as the originals had only done a shade over 7k miles and had 4mm left on them
Driving, it's superb. Pulls like a Saturn 5 rocket; even in 6th, rides better than my 156, is solid in the corners and stops with ease. Really very pleased.
There are some squeaks & a bit of wind noise - unlike the 156 but again, that's fairly typical of the frameless door design.
Economy in the 100 miles or so we've done is 22.9 mpg, but that's taking it easy
but if we'd wanted economy we'd have bought a push bike
Oh. Did I mention the sound that V6 makes
