I always thought cars should be parked on roads...
Very smart comment there - like it
I've already explained the situation regarding the difficulties I have with washing my car - how the hell am I supposed to vacuum it??? Run 3 or 4 lengths of extension cable, give me a break. I'm not in anyones way, I'm not blocking access due to multiple routes.
Just because you've parked there for years to wash your car doesn't mean someone can't object, paths are for pedestrians...but yes, waste of Police time using them to complain. But what would your response have been if someone had complained to you, would you have moved your car?
No - unless they had a damn good reason. I don't think it unreasonable to park there for maybe 1 afternoon every couple of months so I can make my car (and the surrounding area) more presentable.
Also, I was speaking to 1 of my neighbours after this and she was telling me she does it all the time because moving 2 toddlers and a weeks shopping isn't the easiest thing in the world to do...do you find this acceptable??? Because I couldn't less what she or anyone else does.
Not saying you would respond in this manner, but it seems that whenever people complain these days they're met with torrents of abuse...possibly why they called the Police.
I've already had run ins with people around here, I've found that if someone asks me I'll be as accomodating as possible however I REFUSE to be told what to do. I've taken abuse (even physical threats) from these people but they've always backed down because they realise how petty and unreasonable they are being - phoning the Police anonymously is a way to get at me without making themselves feel wrong & foolish.
At the end of the day this was a tremendous waste of everyone's time...people these days sicken me with their petty, goody-twoshoes, pointless, stupid complaints and unfortunately I can only see it getting worse - I for one will be in amongst it making they're lives that bit more "difficult"!!!
