Cambelt change

Hi there,
My name is Jon I am new on here, so hey all nice to meet you. I am doing a cambelt change on my 147, its a 1.6 and I was wondering why when I turn the crank 2 full revolutions the timing marks are not aligned. everything is tightened and torqued but no matter what I cannot get them aligned.
Any help will be much appreciated.

There are no timing marks.

Have you used the correct cam lock blocks for the engine and followed the correct procedure?

Do you mean the marks on the timing belt? They won't be. Check its ok by turning it to TDC on 1 and refitting the cam locks.

If your unsure of the replies google cambelt change or buy a 2.99 ebay cd. The cutouts in the upper cam wheels mean nothing.

As others have said, Alfa TS engines don't have any timing marks, you have to use cam locks and a DTI or similar to set number one piston at TDC.

Yeah fool me, misinterpretted the instructions, where it says make sure timing marks are aligned. I thought it meant back with the belt marks. Doh rookie mistake. Thanks for the advice and help.
