bulbs don't last long
The bulbs for the various lamps in my 2000 156 seem to last 5 mins before blowing - I've replaced the various headlamp bulbs several times in the last year. Not a month goes by without something blowing (I should start a 156 headlamp bulb replacement blog).
Could there be something causing this erratic behaviour - or is it just the way of the world?
Each time I can be bothered to change them I wear latex gloves so as to not touch the bulbs with my greasy mits. However, as you need to have the hands of a small alien child to change them over I usually just get my independent to swap them over when I pop in to purchase the bulb, as I cannot be bothered with the pain of pretending I'm double jointed...
