Re: 147 Front Badge
Hi there have done it twice on mine and my brother's, you need to unfasten all bolts the back ones which screw into the bonnet and the one directly behind the badge! A bit tricky now as the badge is also attached with an adhesive so option 1: Get hold of some fishing line and apply pressure between the badge and the paint on the bonnet using the line as a knife pulling it in both directions to cut through the adhesive tape! Option two, grab hold of the black plastic body of the badge and gentily pull it down towards the engine, you need to be careful doing this not to damage the paint, laquer and possibly denting the top bit of the bonnet! Both ways work the last being easier but a bit more fishier to do! By applying pressure to the black body of the badge you should be able to unglue the adhesive progressively, you can then by hand try and detach the rest of it by hand being careful not to damage the paint under the badge! If you need any more help feel free to ask and I can try and help further! Good Luck,
