Trouble with clutch on 156

A fortnight ago my clutch didn't pop up all the way when changing gear, but operated perfectly. Over the weekend I had to start it in gear and once it was warm it was fine, but today I got stuck at a couple of junctions and had to turn it off, select first, then try again.

I've checked the fluid and its fine. Is it likely to be the slave cylinder? I had that changed about 2 years ago and have done about 15k miles, but is that all I can expect from it? When it was changed before they did the full clutch, but I'm not sure its worth doing that again...

Any thoughts much appreciated whilst I decide on next steps...

try pulling the clutch pedal up.... I think you're missing a spring on the pedal
