Re: Alfa 156 intake box
Hi Ad, the 2.0TS 156 comes standard with a "cylinder" airfilter in the airbox, between the airbox and the air-intake, there is another "silencer / resonater box". This "silencer / resonator" box can be removed and replaced with the V6 or GTA intake pipe. So in other words the air must come via V6 or GTA intake pipe directly into the airbox, and from there the normal pipe that goes to the MAF that you see just before the Manifold. This last pipe also is fitted with a "cone" inside that can be removed. Both these mods will increase induction noise, and may decrease power / torque under 2000RPM, but increase throttle response and top end power (dont expect too much ..)
Give it a try, and let us know what you think.
