147 creaking clutch and front suspension
Hi its my first time on here so apologies if I'm asking about stuff that's already been asked a 1000 times but a quick glance on the forum throws up a lot of different answers to what i'm asking, so a bit of patience would be helpful I've have had my 08 plate 147 jtdm 8v for a couple of years now and ever since I have owned it the clutch has been really heavy and makes a creaking noise when it reaches the top of the travel. Similarly the osf suspension creaks badly when I go over any kind of bump, particularly the dreaded speed humps. The rest of the suspension does creak n bang occasionally but not as much since I had new tyres fitted. Its going in for a cambelt and water pump change at an Alfa Specialist in 2 weeks as its just passed 72k miles and would be grateful for some advice as I don't want to splash out on parts if they're not necessary. I've been told it that it is probably the master cylinder and upper wishbone? Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted
