Best way to sell my 147...
Well, I've had my 147 since late summer as a runaround to keep the miles off my Porsche. I've since sold the Porsche and looking at getting back to one car. Currently looking at S6/S8 of the V10 flavour...
So I need to get rid of the 147. It's got MOT until March 2015 but has a couple of issues. The front suspension knocks, the airbags and seatbelt warning lights flash on and off of their own accord and also I seem to have lost one of the two keys.
Good points are that it's done 74,000 miles. Had new rear pads and discs. I've serviced it recently with new oil, filter, pollen filter and spark plugs (all 8). The service record shows it's had the cambelt done at around 56,000 miles but I think it will need the variator doing as it sounds a bit clattery at first start. Runs really well. Clutch has lots of life left and it is silver with lovely red leather interior.
Also remembered I've fitted a Kenwood Blutooth DAB headunit, custom sub enclosure with an 8" Hertz sub driven by a Genesis Profile amp and Pioneer 6.5" compnents in the doors.
So, do I shift it on on the Autotrader, scrap it or sell it to a specialist breakers maybe? I would be happy with £600 ish for it. Would I get this from a breakers maybe?
