Thumbs Up wing mirrors!!!!!!

hello there i have a kind of stupid question but i have to ask it to be 100% sure....i am currently purchasing a wing mirrior for the passenger side but is that classified as the near side or the off side in mechanical terms.... i always get them mixed up and i dont want to order the wrong mirror.

If it's right hand drive its the nearside, if its left hand drive it's the offside

You're in Greenock, Passenger Side = Near Side (or the side nearest the kerb)

Nearside / offside refers to the distance from the kerbs/verges when the car is driving on it's designed side of the road.

On RHD cars in the UK Nearside is the left of the car and offside the other...
on a LHD car the Nearside is the right of the car and the offside the left.
