4 wheel alignment with B12 kit
Front tyres are wearing on the inside edge...again, after about 10,000 miles, plenty of meat on the rest of the tyres.
I've had the Bilstein B12 kit for a few years and have never been totally happy with the alignment. As camber and caster can't be adjusted we're only left with TOE.
I read the fronts should be 0 and the rears 3 toe-in, however none of the alignment firms I've been to recognise that as standard and the print-out at the end is a mass of red figures.
When firing up their alignment machines there are 2 GT options, one for the GT 3.2 the other option for all other variants, which is what they type in. Doesn't matter if they use their figures or the 0/3 figures I specify, I still seem to get inner wear. The front suspension, wishbones and bearings have little mileage on them.
If I asked for the GT 3.2 settings what would the alignment be? I've seen one or two posts where a 'sports' alignment is quoted, are these the GT 3.2 settings?
All the best
Loose - not close, compact, or tight in structure or arrangement
Lose - to part with or come to be without, as through theft, accident, negligence, etc.
