I have a Q2 Sport and whilst I know the ride is notoriously bad, mine is catastrophic. It's on 94,000 miles and never had any suspension component changed (that I know of) and as a result, it knocks, squeaks and bangs on every corner, over ever slight bump or crevice. I've been in a number of slammed DUB cars with more supple rides.
I'd like to sell the car (I realise this isn't a great advert for it!) but I feel like anyone who test drives it will immediately disregard it because of the ride.
My issue is that I think in replacing the suspension components (no idea which to replace, advice here would be great) I'm not going to see the money back. It's going to be what, £500 all in?
Ideally I need someone who has a Q2 or has previously owned a Q2 near the Southampton area to have a drive in it and let me know if the ride is as bad as I think and possibly even what they think is wrong and whether it's worth replacing.
It's a big headache but I guess overall I just need to know what components are likely to need replacing, how much that usually costs (ballpark figure is fine) and whether it's going to be worth it.
