New 147 T-Spark 1.6 owner :-)

Hi Folks

Well after an absence of 20 odd years - I last owned an alfaSUD, I have bought myself a 147 T spark for a bit of fun.

Great first impressions of the car, not too many things needing done (2003 pre facelift). Its a dark grey/black, with black leather interior and lots of gizmos.

Gears seem a little far apart - is there a cable that stretches over time?

Also a little knock at front nearside when driving over bumps - I live 1 mile down a farm track so will need to fix this pronto. Should i replace bushes or just go for complete suspension arms, etc? Seen everything on eurocarparts at good prices, is the quality acceptable?

Also, whats the BHP of the 1.6 t spark? cos it feels rather nice

Alfa 166

120hp on the standard 1.6 with Variator.

The knock might be worn Arb bushes or drop links.

Better quality stuff than Euro car parts is
