Rear brake problem
I noticed a squeal coming from the rear brakes, so ordered some new pads and discs, in anticipation of them needed to be swapped out.
Started on the left and could only wind back a certain amount, but not enough to fit the calliper over the new disc and pad. Any ideas, is the handbrake mech stopping it from winding back any more? IM not using the tool, but pliers, but managed to move it some of the way...
The right side, was completely seized. The disc could spin, just about, but the caliper woudnt budge after removing the upper and lower bolts. I managed to free it off a bit by hitting with a hammer, but stopped as i was worried about getting it back on. Does this mean the calliper has seized and needs to be replaced?
