147 JTD oil and air filter change
Gave the 147 a service this morning changing oil and filters. The oil filter was fine once I found it but the air filter was an utter pain. The box wouldn't open enough to get the new filter in. I managed to squeeze the old one out but not without tearing it.
Had to remove the fuse box and various other parts to get the box to move enough to open the door wide enough to allow the new filter in. Discovered that the hose coming out of the box was split (probably by someone trying to change the filter) so removed the turbo hose and managed to gaff a tape the split as a temporary bodge.
Do all modern cars need a four poster ramp to carry out a basic service?
