My Black Diamond discs and Ferodo pads are nearly worn away. Time to order replacements.
They have done me well , lasting for 2 years and nearly 60K miles. Hence the thought that when I put them on at 157K miles it would be the last set of brakes I needed
The rear DS Performance pads are down to between about 3-4 mm and the grooved discs are worn down with a pronounced lip. Possibly they would last a little longer but not a lot.
The front DS2500 are faring a little better but show about 5mm on the outside pad, so the inside pad is probably worse. The grooved and drilled discs, however, are worn top the point where the groove is barely there any more.
Everything still works but it's nowhere near as sharp as it was when new, even if it is still better than stock.
It's a very good set-up and I thoroughly recommend all of the components to anyone who is considering upgrading, but this time I thought I`d try a different disc.
