147 Ducati Corse Dark Wheels?

Hello all,
One of the tasks that I want to carry out on my new DC is to have the wheels refurbished - the rears are OK but the fronts could definitely do with some love. The standard wheels are diamond cut (and look really nice in the flesh) but I'm toying between having them refurbished with the diamond cut face (losing the red strip around the edge as it seems impossible to find anyone to reproduce this) or refurbished and pained a dark anthacite colour - close to the Prodrive grey wheels on the Brera S.

I think this would look really good against the black car - what do you think? Has anyone here gone this route? I've done a photoshop mock-up below to give some impression of how it might look, and included a pic of the wheel colour on the Brera S for good measure.

Cost-wise it's looking circa 400 for diamond cut, 220 painted.

I like silver (with out the red strip)

im playing around with alloy colours, silver, gunmetal, anthracite grey and before I make a decision on getting them painted im trialing the different colours unsing plasti-dip.

you spray it on your wheels like normal paint so you get the idea of what it looks like trial it for a couple of months and when your done you just peel it of, its like a spray on wrap
