156 V6

I have just bought a 2000 156 V6, seriously sweet car. One question, I have a Mini Disc player I would like to fit. In the Instructions for the standard radio cassette, it mentions CD players but I cannot see a socket for the cable. Is the cable already installed, and if so where do I find it.

Re: 156 V6

I think the early cars had a CD cable fitted as standard. My '98 V6 had one. Have a look behind the boot trim, mine was behind the left side.

And mine was behind the right side on a '99, however I thought they stopped putting them in mid-2000.

Re: 156 V6

My cable was behind the boot lining on the right hand side. Your looking for a female 8 pin din socket. The other end should be behind your head unit somewhere. It's a connector block that plugs into the back of the head unit. I heard that all 156's were factory fitted with them up until 2000 so you might be lucky.

Nice choice of car BTW
