Thanks David C. Unpugging it and plugging it in again makes a clunk sound, so I gues it's working. I was using Multiscan to test the variator relay but there was no sound of it kicking in via Multiscan. Now I see where the variator relay is and can investigate it further.
Off topic but I found some posts relating to the cone in the airbox. I had taken mine out ages ago. Put it back in today and I "feel" (maybe placebo) the motor has a smoother power band from idle to 3000 then it kicks off like it was turbo charged (2.0ltr CF2) .
I have a 3" pipe coming out of the standard airbox and up under the wing, with a mesh cap on the end. I did away with the pre filter box contraption as it won't fit right with the GTA spoiler I have. I'm rambling on here.... :-)
