156 JTD MJet MCS Failure...?

Picked up 156 JTD MJet on Friday, it was unregistered so basically brand new to me. Love it, first turbo diesel after several TS's, a few of the usual Alfa 'characteristics' to be sorted, etc. One big one is that Motor Control System Failure-Go To Dealer has come up three times and stayed on but not flashed. This also stops the turbo coming in but everything goes back to normal when the engine is stopped and restarted... The battery level is low so could this be causing the MCS Failure and the ECU blocks the turbo as a limp home mode?? Or could there be a turbo problem-should you hear any noise when the turbo kicks in?? Any advice would be great as I'm expecting some bullsh1t from Stealer!!

Hi it needs to go onto the Examiner to find out what the cause of the engine failure is it could be a number of things that could cause this to happen and yes it will go into limp home mode if the ECU thinks that there could be damage done by the vehicle been driven get it checked out!!!!!!
