The CAN bus system controls the body computer.
Using a (modified) KKL lead works with old systems like XP and Vista, the problem starts when
users plug in the cable and the automatic device installer starts to look for an appropiate driver,
the KKL cable needs the FTDI driver that must be installed before plugging in the cable.
To make the confusion even worse there are KKL leads with the CH340 chip which need the CH340 driver.(are you still with me ?)
remember that OBD software is very old and also has to work in third world countries with old
computers. We use too sophisticated kit ! OBD does not need warp speed processors !
