The problem wasn't the injectors in the end it was a connection on the throttle. On the v6 there is no throttle cable, it uses a drive by wire electronic throttle. There is a wire running from the accelerator pedal to the ECU in the pasanger footwell. Behind the glove box there is a plastic connection block that these wires pass through before they get to the ECU, this is the culprit, apparetly its a common fault because the connectiuons are rubbish. I pushed mine hard together and taped it up, others have hard wired (soldered) the connections together.
