You don't say how old either of these cars are. When we bought our '02 there were a couple of things wrong with it which I believe might be typical. We bought it over two years ago now with 30k-odd on the odometer. Front anti roll bar links and bushes clonking on bumps, gearchange partially seizing up (left-right motion). Knackered 'variator' meaning diesel noises on start-up, actally quite a frightening noise, enough to put off any sensible purchaser. Otherwise a great car. Prepare for a big surprise in the lovely-precise-nimble-steering department after the Citroen.
