Re: Wheel Bearings

Yeah - get them from here and pay someone to doe them as they are apig to fit without a press. Should be about £60 per bearing

Don't do what I did and get the left one replaced, then the right one goes 2 weeks later. Get them both together.

Re: Wheel Bearings

What makes you think its the bearing? Can you feel movement when its jacked up? just going off noise can be misleading, there have been discussions here about tyre noise sounding like or amplifying hub noises. Unless sloppy of obviously losing grease I'd wait.

Re: Wheel Bearings

Personally I think changing both is unnecessary. You don`t save any money by doing two at once. Some bearings last well and some don`t - it's anyone's guess why - so you may be replacing a bearing that would have been good for the life of the car.

Re: Wheel Bearings

Hi Rob, must have done a fair few miles, and worn a few tyres out as well with tight cornering? As Wrenched said check it out properly, as they are not that frequent in failing.
