156 weird noises
hi, ive got alfa 2005 156 jtd 16v 1.9.
recently it started making noise from steering wheel that can be heard in interior. noise is not permanent and appears when driving at about 30mph - 50mph straight or turning lightly for second or two in interior.
also i noticed that when turning right there is spinning metal to metal contact like noise coming from wheels or somewhere in the front in exterior. i tried recording it but no luck cant hear in recording even when its quite loud.
car was serviced few months ago all fluids were changed ( brake, power steering, gearbox oil, engine oil), all filters, handbrake cables and also during mot there was excessively worn offside brake hose which was replaced too to pass mot. all brake discs and pads are almost new, went to garage & got 2 new tyres also did wheel alignment but noise is still there. have no ideas what it can be and its really annoying me. i thought its brake pads as when noise appear (when driving straight or turning right at 30-50mph) i tried braking and noise dissappears. as soon as noise appear i brake and noise is gone again, but can start in few seconds again. there is no noise while driving first mile on cold engine, but after mile or two it starts appearing and annoying me. can someone please advise me if there is anything that could solve my problem ? could it be power steering fluid or brake fluid issue as they were changed few months ago and there were no such noise while i had this car for few years.
