Help! Can't get it fixed: no low rev power.
I believe i have read all the threads in the forum regarding loss of power on low revs, however 99% of theese cases is EGR problems probably, I saw a couple more guys that can't figure out the problem as well.
My 03 156 1.9jtd 16v (103kw) has no starting power at all, if i have the AC working + steering wheel moved (power steering engaged) it is a struggle to get the car moving, i have to floor it ant keep it floored for a couple of seconds (as the RPMs go up slowly) then when I am at 2000++ rpms release the slowly, RPMS drop to about 1500 I get it to move somehow but it is so frustrating. When I am just cruising, it seems it is so flat till right about 2000, from 2000RPMS i can drive it lets say OK, and at around 2500-2600RPMS i get a pulling spike, where it takes off, leaving some black smoke behind me.
Generally it is not fun to drive it, but in some situations even dangerous, as if i need to dive in faster, unless i get the RPMS for the start to like 2500-3000 engine has no power at all to get it moving.
As i stated i know it is not EGR, cause mine is blanked (no error on dash), MAF sensor changed (BOSCH), MAP sensor cleaned (was gunged up badly, not sure if working properly), hoses from turbo actuator are ok, swirl flaps - as far as i see, this engine doesn't have them on.
I have no idea where to look any further, i thought it's due to the turbo failure, but i got it checked out, it blows as it should.
