you've got the fault codes mate - you tell us.
Simulate via ECU scan probably means you never actually connected to your ECU at all, so chances are you were just looking at a dummy version to show you what the software could do.
Your car went into limp mode by sounds of it, so chances are when giving it "the beans" you hit overboost and dropped into limp mode. Turning the engine off / on again would reset the car to normal but if you hit overboost again it would go into limp mode again.
Try again with ECU scan, make sure you've got your cable correctly installed and the right COM port selected in the interface software menu and click connect - if it fails to connect to your ECU then you're not reading fault codes from it.
