Hmmm bhp increase??

Hi - I've seen a little gizmo on ebay - apparently it plugs in to the cars computer system and tricks it into thinking its colder so the timing adjusts slightly - sounds too good to be true - +10 / 15 increase in BHP for a couple of quid! Has anyone come across this or used one? I have a 2L veloce

Re: bhp increase??

dont do it.

there basically a resistor that force the engine into thinking a different amount of air is entering the engine and therfore adjusts the fuel intake accordingly. can destroy your engine.

good rule... if it sounds to good to be true it probably is

welcome to the club by the way

Re: bhp increase??

Get 'Owt' fer 'Nowt' like the guys have said, wouldn't risk messing a good motor up! Just isn't worth the gamble.

Re: bhp increase??

I think its brilliant. i think I will buy 10, so my power will be 159% increased. If they cost 10 each, and it gets my v6 up to 498bhp, that has to be the deal of the century
