one headlamp won't it an arm & a leg repair??

My passenger side headlamp won't move when changing the angle using the interior adjuster, opened the bonnet and took the headlamp cover off (plus most of the skin from my knuckles) and could hear the small black motor in the lamp unit making a permanent whirring noise. It only stopped when I turned the lights off again.

Assume its stuck somehow, assume I'll have to get this sorted at the dealers - anyone have an idea of the cost? It sound like one of those ones where you pick the car up and its cost me 200 quid.

Anyone know if you can adjust the lamp manually? - its stuck so the dipped headlamp is like main beam for on coming traffic...

The up/down adjustment is the small adjuster on the motor unit.

You can buy just the replacement motor, ebay is one place. About £20. Then just a matter of taking off the bumper, remove headlight, replace motor and put everything back again. About 3 Hours if you've never done it before.
