JTS Inlet Valves (inspecting)

Okay having just obught a JTS for the first time, I'm curious about the problem with inlet valves, I don't particularly want to take the throttle body or manifold off at this point, as I'm only curious, but I do have a rather rudimentry boroscope, that I thought about using. I reckong going through the trottle boddy might be a bad idea because I'm told they can be rather fragile, the obvious other plase is the brake vaccume pipe, but as this T's into the inlet piping I'm not sure I'd be able to get a decent angle round to the valves.

Anybody any experience of inspecting the valves using a boroscope? Best access place?
