Hello Alfa Owners,
My 1999 156 is AC is acting up.
It was stuck on the feet direction, and wouldn't change no matter where you set the knob.
After a couple of Climate control settings reset ( removed the battery, and did the auto/manual AC start procedure), I was able to have it blow on the face.
Still the air direction knob is not functioning.
When I first start the car, the air circulation button is set to "air from outside", regardless of which air setting i leave it on before turning the car off (I always leave the air on Recirculation)
and Now I notice that there is a fan start delay (approx. 30 seconds) after i start the car.
During these 30 seconds, the air doesn't blow, and the air recirculation button doesn't light up, even though i pressed it.....after the 30 seconds, air blows, and recirculates inside.
Worthy to mention, i still hear the flaps self-testing whenever I start the car.
Any Ideas on what's going on?
