What a nightmare. After waiting two weeks to get the exhaust i am not happy with my purchase.
First of all, the welding looks like a 10 year old did it. I have a friend that does stainless welds. Even after a heavy night on the drinks, half drunk the next morning his welds are still 100% better that Ragazzon's.
Second off, it looks like it was bent in a pipe bender. What about this maintaining a fixed diameter through the bends. I have creases on my bends!!
I lift the car off the ground. Snap off both bolts into the cat. An hour was spent trying to separate the middle pipe from the rear, all bolts rusted so bad we had to cut and snap them off. At this stage i get smacked in the face with a spanned been footed by my mate
Got to laugh really, just like something out of a movie.
After the old exhaust was removed we redrilled the holes in the cat and started putting the Ragazzon in. Think it went in ok?
Not a chance. It is as if the bends on the middle pipe does not follow that of the cars tunnel. It presses up against the heat shield by the fuel tank. Not only there but the rear pipe touches against the rear sway bar. This is the real problem and my rant. On start up or riding over small bumps the exhaust rattles like it is going to drop off.
I will lift the car in the week to see if i can swivel the pipes at other angles to see if i can get a rattle free line.
Has some one got one fitted with no rattles? I can see the problem been with my fitting not Ragazzon's bends. I am sure they have done too many to get them wrong.
