156 2.5 v6 misfire, p1314 code
Im excited this is my first post on a alfa forum, im used to suby stuff so this is a big difference for me so here i go! Lol
Ive got a 2002 alfa 156 v6 2.5l, its got a misfire on idle, not until it hits around 2500rpm does it sort of go away. First thing i did was get a cable and fiat scan and check for codes, it came up with p1314 vertical accelerometer / uneven road surface. I put that code into google and it came up with misfire bank 2. So that would explain my miss. Anyway i had no idea which side bank two was so i pulled the covers and the intake manifold off and checked out the coil packs and plugs. I couldnt find anything wrong with the coils but the plugs looked a bit old so i replaced them. Also what else i did was swap the coil packs on each bank so if the miss was on the rear bank it would now be on the front back if the coils were at fault. Put it all back together started it and still had the miss with the exact same code. I checked the output lambda readings too on fiat scan and both lambda sensors and reading around 0.5v which confuses me to cause if there was a miss there would be unburnt fuel going down the exhaust and it would have a higher richer reading. Im a so confused now cause i dont no where to go from here.Any help would gladly be appreciated!
