Yes there was a comical side to it..And i did get a trophy at prizegiving and round of applause for the "best excuse award"..lol.
Today reminded me where i used to be around the 300bhp mark...I need to have a good think about how, what, if and when to go forward. I don't think my present turbo will give me much more than 240 max properly mapped with WMI...Im not sure 2.4 would be the most cost effective power for buck solution either? Then the obvious way to go would be big GTB turbo conversion from Joel at JTD performance, its the only way i will get the power i am after. Joel has been running this setup for a good while now, and with WMI , i have the clutch and injectors to take it.
I might put my present turbo setup for sale and see if i have any interest, it works superbly..And its a tried and tested reliable setup. I personally need to make progress in the right direction for the power i want. I dont want to compromise reliability either. Which i don't think i would, provided everything is up to scratch and working efficiently.
I also could go for a busso 3.2 GT, but that would mean starting again. Which after getting my Clover sorted would be a pain in the arse or arese..
