Re: Bah - oil leak back :(
Well, here is the latest!
Oil leak is indeed the sump - however, not much, so mechanic advises not worth reparing and to wipe off excess every few weeks.
Handling - got the trailing arms (front to rear ones) fitted - now feels a lit better, they were very soft to the point of moving with bare hands alone.
However.... The steering wheel is now at an angle, I suspect I need alignment for the third blinking time!
I am paranoid that alignment may not sort the handling totally.
I have heard that the front transverse arms never need changing, but am thinking of holding on to my next service and getting the front transverse arms replaced on the basis that the rear trailing and transverse arms both looked okay, but were very soft. I am also seriously thinking of getting shop4parts rear arb droplinks as only a tenner and get them changed for good measure at the same time. Am I obsessed and mad??
Would I be wasting my money? I do not want to invest in alignment to have to replace the last set of arms then get yet more alignment done!!
