147 Indicator replacement.

Has anyone done this?

BTW I'm talking about the pre-facelift style indicators located in the lower grille aperture of the bumper, by the chrome splitter vanes.

One of mine has a cracked lens and there are some going fairly cheap on eBay at the mo so I just wanted to check how easy they were to remove and replace before I splashed out.

Is it a bumper off job or can they be easily accessed with everything still in place on the car?

Re: 147 Indicator replacement.

nice and easy, theres a clip at the top and bottom of the of the lense, get a flat screwdriver or blunt knife in the top and prise it out, then the same for the bottom, whole unit will come out, pop new one in and hey-presto! (its on page 241 of manual)
