If you read in the description it does say it has the ability to charge 1st gen Ipod Touch.
Looks like I bought a cheapy . Cheers folks

Oddly it does on occasion charge it but it seems not consistently. I thought it may have been the iPod but it charges (as it is doing right now as I type) fine from my laptop.

Got the new oil cooler on last night, popped the bumper back on this morning and about to change the oil/filter.
The Autolusso Mocal cooler kit is a really nice kit and a considerable improvement over the original. I'm not the biggest fan of the new bracket though, it's much trickier to fit than the old one.

I think the new bracket is much better

Ned

Edit that: you can't have the new bracket as we have only has 2 from our supplier, one was used on a GTA in the workshop and the other I sent to Tom Rafal so I don't know what you have???

Ned, this is Tom Rafal

This is what I received mate. I couldn't see how to fit it, hence the phone call...

It's definitely more secure than the old one but its a fairly bit more involved to fit.

Very funny I do get confused with user names etc

When we get some more brackets in I will put a picture on our site

The oil cooler kit has changed quite a bit now, constant evolution

Yeah, from what you were saying on the phone it sounds like a great, reliable solution.

I should have taken more pictures after fitting but to be honest I just wanted something hot to eat, it ****ed it down all day while I was fitting it...

Popped over to borrow a mates ramps to change my oil. Spent nearly an hour getting the sump plug out!
The old one was rounded off on the inside and the outer edges looked like it had been undone and done up again with mole grips, the last people to touch my sump were an Alfa main dealer, why they felt it was acceptable to refit it is beyond me, I'd have happily paid the 5 it costs for a new plug and washer. I'm also certain they didn't change the air filter either as the one I removed was the dirtiest I've ever seen and was apparently only 8k miles old, they didn't neglect to invoice me for it though! An angry phone call is being made today...

New St steel exhaust today. They took it off the lift before I could take a pic, though.

Fitted an Autolusso top turbo hose today! Was much easier than I expected, and I wasn't expecting it to be tricky! Just about managed to contort my arm to undo the bottom pipe clip too rather than cut it off...

Also found that the new silicone hose didn't need cutting to size at all! Compared it to the old rubber and it looked nigh-on the same length, sat it in place and it was the perfect fit already! No squeezes on the bends at all where it was stretched to fit, and a slight re-designed top section to give better clearance over the battery and less tight corners..

10 mins from bonnet up to bonnet down I reckon

The top hose we sell fits without cutting, the lower needs to be trimmed as the lengths are slightly different on 147/156 & GT , measure twice cut once

Ah ok!

Loz mentioned cutting the lower one to fit when I picked one up from him, I assume it was the same for the top too...

Next job, secure the crank-case vent line out from the segregator... Read a few posts recently about them being loose, checked mine today and it's jiggling about in the coupling and looks a bit leaky/oily...

Finally smoked rear lights

Pretty tidy and simple job of taking off, spraying and re-installing rear lights...not sure if could have gone a couple of coats darker?

Wet sanded my front bumper to try and remove the orange peel left from the so called smart repair that had been done previously.

Very well, ideally needs a respray, would put some pics up but no more space on my account. Will upload some to Flickr and post a link in a bit.

Pre-washed, 2-bucket washed, chamois dried, applied Blackfire Polish all over, Autoglym HD Wax, Angelwax Visioned the windows, cleaned and fed the leather seats, cleaned the dash, and hung my new air freshener...

Bloody knackered now, time for a beer!

Gave it a wash, first time since Duxford Spring Alfa day.

Checked fluids, topped up screen wash.

Ordered a whole load of service stuff and a wi-fi ODBII reader thing.
