I need the side bolster stitching on the driver seat, the bolster is fine its just the stitching thats come undone. I can't find a repairer anywhere in my area.

Do it yourself - it's not that hard.

Also got told my rear subframe was full of sand... Apparently took a bolt out and had to leave it for a few minutes as sand poured out.

Maybe it was weight ballast..Maybe the last owner wanted to lower the car economically by bringing it down a few cm's with weight.. Maybe it was not sand?

Sorry missed this James..

To be honest no i have not..The car only having 38k miles on her. Im not sure i would go poly again all round. I did that to my last car and it was overkill...Made it harsh. Look forward to your findings though. I am considering a rear lower whiteline chassis brace though.

Damien.
Used superflex bushes on the rear, think they are slightly softer than powerflex but a lot less cost, 90 for all rear bushes.
All fitted, no squeaking at all, rear handling tightened up nicely and no noticeable hardness, seems a bit less divey over the speed bumps too, all round thumbs up!

Looks really good! And that from someone who normally doesn't like 'stripes'.

That's a nice looking 147....but be careful with those plates.... rozzers would rather 'an easy life' and pull a car with non standard (ok, let's not dress it up...they're illegal) plates as opposed to people driving whilst on the phone, or driving with bits hanging off their car, or driving with bulbs out etc.

After my GT tried to kill me going down the A1, got some advice from Laurence at autolusso, who was very helpful. The rear arm had slid off the bush and caused rear end instability, now gone back to the garage to have the bushes welded in place.
